During winter children get up to all kinds of bother from playing in the snow, having snowball fights, sledging and slipping around on ice. It can be a dirty time and parents often find themselves washing clothes more often than usual. There are some items that every child should have in their wardrobe during winter which can be washed, wiped and worn day in day out.

Children will like the hood as it keeps their ears warm but it is easy to whip of when they get a bit warmer or come inside.

Waterproof Coat

A waterproof coat is the perfect protector against wind and rain which dominates the winter weather. You will more than likely need to buy a new coat every year as children grow so quickly. You may resent having to spend a lot of money on a good winter coat every year, especially when adults can go two or three years using the same winter jacket, but a waterproof coat will be essential for your child. As they play outside with friends, walk to school or go anywhere outside, they will need to be protected against rain, cold, wind and snow. This could keep them healthy against seasonal colds and flu.
